Seminar photoThe seminar “Advanced CAD Technologies for Steelwork and Concrete Construction” was organized by two companies, which provide integrated computer aided engineering solutions – “Graitec” and “Geobaltus”.

The seminar was organized in collaboration with Lithuanian Association of Consulting Companies (Lietuvos Projektavimo Įmonių Asociacija). This seminar was intended for companies and specialists working in building design and construction units in Baltic countries. About 80 specialists from various enterprises in Baltic countries were participated in the seminar. The seminar was held in Vilnius, Lithuania (Litexpo exhibition centre).

The topics covered during the seminar were following (seminar programme  – .pdf file [160 KB]):

1. Products for Steelwork and Concrete Construction developed by GRAITEC company.

2. Product developed for implementing CAD Technologies in Steelwork: Advance Steel. The main features of Advance Steel includes: intelligent connections, integrated joint design (Eurocodes) and automatic creation of high-quality workshop drawings.
2.1. New features in Advance Steel 8.1 version.
2.2. Workshop in Advance Steel, followed by success stories working with Advance Steel and discussions.

3. Product developed for Concrete Construction: Advance Concrete. The main features of Advance Concrete includes: modeling of concrete structures, automatic production of formwork drawings, creation of reinforcement drawings.
3.1. New features in Advance Concrete 8.1 version.
3.2. Workshop in Advance Concrete with discussions on the topic of data communication with Revit and Advance Design. It was followed by success stories and discussions.

These topics were presented and discussed by Franck Vasseur (“Graitec”), Philippe Bonneau (“Graitec”), Herve Delfosse (“Graitec”) and Linas Gabrielaitis (“Geobaltus”).
